You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at Fulton Place has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

Each resident at Fulton Place pays a flat rate that includes:

The spacious accommodations at Fulton Place range from 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, with a private bedroom-bathroom suite for each resident.

Fulton Place is fully furnished. The furniture package includes a full-size bed, desk and chair and dresser in each bedroom. The living room includes a sofa, chair, coffee table. The kitchen includes a dining table with chairs.

The standard term is August 11, 2026 to July 19, 2027, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates are available; please inquire with our staff. Click here for a sample agreement.

Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to do one of two things: provide a qualifying guarantor (often a parent), or pre-pay the final 2 installments.

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Fulton Place also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Your living costs at Fulton Place can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Fulton Place. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Fulton Place is designed and offered for students at University of North Carolina at Greensboro or North Carolina & State University. The per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Therefore, applications are accepted only from students at one of these local colleges or universities. Fulton Place is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes student residents with children, at no extra cost other than regular charges for each bedroom space selected by the resident. In order to match roommates in shared apartments with college students, roommate consent is required for any occupant who is not a college student.

Fulton Place has a monitored fire-sprinkler system, along with electronic locks plus individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff are also available 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

Fulton Place is a pet-friendly community, subject to limits on animals and breeds. The community is smoke-free in all indoor and adjacent spaces. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of apartment-mates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Fulton Place offers free on-site parking for residents and guests.

Fulton Place is conveniently located less than a half-mile from the UNCG campus, making it easy to walk or bike to classes and school activities. Greensboro Transit also has bus stops nearby on Fulton Street and W Gate City Blvd. The GTA bus service operates Monday through Friday from 5:15am to 11:30pm, Saturday from 6am to 10pm and Sunday from 6am to 6pm.
